Some good news. Bend city council votes to turn off and uninstall Flock cameras. https://ktvz.com/news/bend/2026/01/08/update-city-of-bend-turns-off-will-uninstall-flock-license-plate-reader-cameras-amid-security-concerns/ One interesting point, the contract was below the threshold for what the city council normally would have to approve. I wonder if that's why Flock cameras popped up so quickly in so many cities and towns without any warning or oversight.
